Our Wedding

<p>In keeping with our themes of history and restoration, our love story spans over a decade. We first met in 2012 and if you haven't heard an in-person rendition of the meeting, it did not go well. The accounts of actual order of events and interactions vary depending on the source, but either way, it was not the right time for love between us. In 2016 we met again on one fated night of Milwaukee Irish Fest. Jacob had just finished playing with his band, Black Thorn Folly and Christine had just finished an 8 mile run, so both parties were absolutely zen and ready to find love! It was a beautiful summer night and as the sun was setting, Christine was sitting with her siblings near the rocks on the lakeshore of the summerfest grounds eating some classic wisconsin foods. She happened to compare something anomolous to "a lightning storm in space" Jacob was within earshot and his nerd brain immediately recognized the quote from the 2009 J.J. Abrams Star Trek. He scooted right over to the table to investigate who would say such a thing. Luckily for Christine, Jacob didn't even recognize her from the 2012 meeting. Christine was relieved to see that Jacob had gained a couple pounds and improved upon his "computer tan" since 2012, Jacob was intrigued by this slightly more mature woman.  Christine bought Jacob a beer and they waltzed up and down the bleachers at Irishfest. What followed was an amazing night that would change their lives forever!</p><p>After daily facetimes and several dates throughout the fall of 2016, Christine quickly decided that Jacob was the man for her. Jacob would take 8 additional years to convince. When Christine gained admittance to Marquette Dental School over Christmas and had no further business in Wisconsin, she decided that a long vacation in San Francisco might be in order.
